Pepe: Ronaldo shame not to win the Golden Ball

   

Portuguese defender Pepe launched a controversial statement today, which said that any player will be crowned the Golden Ball for the 2014 dispute compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo "should feel ashamed."

He explained Pepe told the newspaper (a Paula) Portuguese: "The difference between the best player in the world and the rest was not clear and significant, as happened this year, so any player is Ronaldo for the Golden Ball shame, would be really a scandal."

The Real Madrid player on the Spanish team-mate: "What should be done with Ronaldo to be recognized? It is the best of all time, I repeat what I said, the difference between him and other massive never before."

Pepe and Ronaldo have already considered the best player in the history of Portugal, ahead of the late Eusebio and Luis Figo.

Ronaldo capped the Golden Ball in 2008 and 2013, and is the favorite to win this year, and speculation to suggest that would be the closest rival German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer or last colleague Thomas Mueller.
