Morocco's request to postpone hosting the African Nations Cup soccer early next year because of an outbreak of Ebola in some African countries.
It is assumed that Morocco will host the Cup of Nations in the period between January 17 and the eighth of February next.
Said Mohammed Auxerre Minister of Youth and Sports in Morocco in a statement obtained by Reuters a copy of it, "the ministry filed on behalf of the Moroccan government to Issa Hayatou, president of the Confederation of African Football request to postpone the organization of the Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to incubate in Morocco."
"The request comes this delay on the basis of the decision of the Moroccan Ministry of Health, which emphasizes the need to avoid gatherings involving expatriates from countries where there is an Ebola."
"The official delegation will meet with the President of the Confederation of African Football over the next week in order to study the practical procedures for this delay."
